Antique Colonial Rocking Chair

Before
This rocker most likely isn't an actual antique but rather just "vintage". But it reminds me of an antique chair. Luckily it was sturdy and didn't require any repairs.

Damage to veneer underneath the seat, however, the manufacturer's stamp is still clear:
"Colonial Chair, Bent & Bros., Gardner, Mass."

Before: The finish was
rough and deteriorating.

After

I re-stained the seat and painted the rest of the rocking chair with Graphite chalk paint.

Colonial Rocking Chair
After.

After. The finish has an aged patina,
but it is as smooth and shiny as glass.
